Working Folks Grammar School System
Directorate of Education was established by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Workers Welfare Board in Feb/March 2000 to provide quality education to worker's children established its own institutions named as, "Working Folks Grammar School System". The details are as follows:
- Initially four (04) schools and nine (09) vocational institutes (for women) were operationalized
- Number of schools has now been increased to 48 schools (Boys & Girls)
- Initially these schools were registered with respective BISE as private institutions but in 2021, E&SE has given them the status of Public Sector Institutions
- These schools are funded by Workers Welfare Fund Islamabad
